Want to see a commission being painted?
This piece is one of two 4ft. by 5ft. acrylic on canvas paintings. It is an invented scene of a wine cave from the outside looking in, and the second one (which is still under way) is from the inside looking out. The lighting and position changes as the time of day and work progresses but you can see the painting evolve over a six week period and get an idea of what transpires. Other than the original sketches of the interior directly on the canvas, it was painted as it became clearer in the artist's imagination.
