Native Californian Julie Bjorgum, is an award winning artist who turned her life-long love for drawing and painting into a professional pursuit in 1992. She is a former board member of Northern CA Arts, Sacramento Gallery Assn. and Folsom Arts Association and a founding member of Folsoms Finest. Julie remains active in supporting the arts in the community and regularly exhibits her work in numerous CA locations including Folsom, Sonoma, and Clarksburg. My goal as an artist is to never stop learning by pushing the limits of my skills. I hope to always be fearless in trying new creative ideas. I feel this keeps my art fresh and exciting and hope it can be seen that way by others. My enduring challenge is that I will continue to develop the ability to paint anything my mind can envision.
